“Israeli Naval Operations” will be the topic discussed by Ra’anan deHaas on Sunday, November 21st, at 2:00 PM, LIVE via ZOOM presented by the Southern New Hampshire Jewish Men’s Club.
In August 2021, The Jewish Agency of Israel appointed Ra’anan deHaas to serve a two year term as Shaliach (Israeli Emissary) for the New Hampshire Jewish Federation. For the past seven years, 29 year old Tel Aviv resident deHaas worked in the Israeli Educational Robotics field for FIRST Israel while also running a high school robotics department. In his new capacity as our Federation Shaliach, Ra’anan will be sharing his Israeli experience and knowledge with our local Jewish community.
As a Lieutenant in the Israeli Navy, Ra’anan served as a Naval Tactical Control Officer in the Israeli Army during the “Protective Edge” and “Pillar of Defense” operations. “Israeli Naval Operations” will examine 4 separate Naval Operations throughout Israeli history that were bold, strategic and pretty crazy.
Ra’anan’s presentation will be followed by an open question and answer session.
