When a Jewish child reaches the age of 13 according to the Jewish calendar, that child becomes an adult in the eyes of the Jewish community with responsibility for actions that bring goodness and holiness to the world. This is a cause for rejoicing and celebration for your child, your family, our Beth Abraham community, and the entire Jewish people!
We would love to celebrate with you and to help you celebrate! For some this is a milestone along a path of Jewish education or in the congregation. For some this may be your family’s on-ramp into involvement in Jewish life and learning. One thing it is not – a completion or graduation.
