The beautiful spaces on Raymond Street are our home away from home where we get to know each other, sing and dance together, eat delicious food, and learn. It’s where we renew ourselves on Shabbat and on holy days. We first came to Raymond Street more than 60 years ago, and it’s been nearly 25 years since we expanded and refurbished our home. In recent years some maintenance was prioritized over other maintenance, and some repairs were delayed to find appropriate solutions to perform the work, and some repairs exceeded our financial capacity.
MiDor L’Dor (from Generation to Generation), is a three-phase $1,200,000 campaign for TBA’s future. The first phase focused on the exterior repair project, which included measures to address root causes of the exterior damages. The second phase will fund additional improvements and repairs to our campus and build sufficient reserves to manage our assets proactively. The third phase will help sustain our congregation’s future.

Why MiDor L’Dor Matters:
Owing to a group of generous donors, including all Board members, we have raised sufficient funds to commence long-needed exterior repairs to the synagogue. Our general contractor Northpoint has finished the project, and we have successfully completed phase 1. (See Before and After images below).
Beth Abraham’s House Committee has identified projects requiring capital funds, some immediate, and others that are not as urgent. One of the immediate needs is the buildings’ cooling and heating units since they are reaching end of life.
We have signed a contract with Design Day Mechanicals to provide a schematic design for a replacement HVAC system. Once we have a design that we agree upon, we will request quotes from local HVAC contractors. Preliminary quotes have listed this cost of being anywhere between $350,000 and $400,000.
MiDor L’Dor is not just about the physical buildings, but about the overall message and impact we create together. This phase will help sustain our congregation’s future by replenishing our Capital Fund.
