Vaccinations

Jewish leaders of all religious movements in North America and Israel urge vaccination both for pikuah nefesh (the preservation of life, which overrides virtually any other religious consideration) and to support the smooth opening and operation of all institutions and businesses in our communities. As a Jewish institution, Temple Beth Abraham is proud to play our part in making Greater Nashua a safe place for all who live, learn, and pray here.

Temple Beth Abraham continues to strongly encourage that everyone 5 years and older receive a Covid-19 vaccine and booster shots if eligible.

When you attend an event in person at TBA, you and we are agreeing to a covenant to look after each other and the wider community. You are agreeing to let us know if you test positive for Covid-19 within 7 days, and we are agreeing to let you know if we learn that someone who was present when you were has tested positive within that time frame, even if you or the other person are not a “close contact” under the strict definition.

If you test positive, we pray for your speedy and complete healing and hope we can do something to ease your time of isolation and illness, and we ask that you contact either the person in charge of your event, the Rabbi, our President Jeff Masors, or our Covid-19 task force chair Richard Cohen. Your identity will be kept confidential unless you allow us to use your name, which can be helpful for close contacts.
